Sab bhula ke Nacho!

Sing like no one’s listening. Dance like no one’s watching. That was what Nacho was all about. The second sundowner at Maadhyam 2011, Nacho was a celebration of dance and all the expression associated with it.

Graced by the cast of the movie Yeh Saali Zindagi, the event was a sell-out. The auditorium was full to bursting and cheers rent the air as Sudhir Mishra, Chitrangada Sen and Arunodaya Singh stepped on stage. Promoting their film, all three of them spoke about their roles and the reason we need to watch this movie in particular. The boys couldn’t take their eyes off  of Chitrangada who was looked as stunning as ever. The girls had their share of eye candy in Arunodaya whose charm and voice had them completely enamoured.

The show was judged by Mr. Terence Joseph, a talented choreographer; Ms. Tanushree, a dancer trained in ballet and classical dance among others and Mr. Mridang who has his own dance academy in Pune.

Dipen and Chirag hosted the show in their inimitable style. No one will be able to forget that performance of Munni. Hats off to the both of them. With an opening act by SIMC UG, the competing teams had quite a standard to live up to. And oh, did they live up. The teams from Goa and BMCC among others, set the stage on fire with their energy and enthusiasm. An impromptu performance by Arunodaya Singh was just an added bonus.

BMCC emerged as the clear winner with their performance. They were also asked to do an encore since the audience loved them so much. They went home with a prize of Rs. 5000.

It was an explosive end to the second day of Maadhyam 2011. And no no no, it isn’t over yet!
